PROTOCOL NATIONAL SHOWCASES NEW INTERIM DIVISION

Protocol National, the largest single provider of staff education services to the Further Education sector in the UK, showcased its enhanced College Leadership Division at this year’s AoC, following the launch of the new Gold Standard Interim Services.

Headed up by Madeleine Martin, Gold Standard Interim Services was launched in response to an increase in demand for short-term contract specialists within the sector. It will support colleges looking for interim staff at Principal and SMT level, providing the same level of knowledge and sector expertise as they have come to expect from other parts of the College Leadership team. 

Peter Daley, Head of the College Leadership Division said, “In the current uncertain times, colleges need the ability to be flexible and we found we were regularly being asked to help find experienced professionals to fill interim positions within a college. The launch of this new service is our response to that.

“We can now offer colleges a full service for all management appointments and the new Interim Service perfectly complements the Middle Management service which was launched by Mark Locking earlier this year. Both services received extremely good feedback from college principals at AoC, who were pleased that we were recognising and helping them overcome the challenges they face.

“I am sure Madeleine will be a real asset to our team and her years of experience in recruitment and Further Education will strengthen our position as experts in this field.”

Madeleine, who was most recently Personnel Manager at Boston College in Lincolnshire, has a wealth of experience working in recruitment and selection for Further Education colleges as well as nearly 10 years experience in the recruitment industry in the commercial sector. 

She said, “Interim Services is just what Protocol National needs to ensure we continue to meet the needs of colleges and offer the best level of service possible. It was great to meet so many of the colleges that I hope to be working with in the future. Now I am looking forward to heading up and developing Interim Services as well as working with Peter and Mark to maximise the potential of College Leadership Services as a whole.”
