Observe & Improve

Observe and Improve have emerged as market leaders in the learning and skills sector for the provision of consultancy and training in quality improvement, inspection preparation and best practice in teaching and learning. We have an established reputation for consistently high quality support and training based on best practice gathered nationally.

Working with over 70 providers across the UK in recent years, the testimonials below illustrate why providers come back to our established team of trainers and consultants again and again for tailored support and training.

Observe is the college sector’s leading provider of support and training in everything related to quality improvement, including inspection preparation, self-assessment, classroom practice and observation processes.

Improve provides the highest-quality direct support for colleges in delivering higher success rates and a better experience for learners, right up to and through external inspection. Our team of experts has worked with the colleges who have achieved the highest grade profiles in the country under the current inspection framework.

“Barnsley College has undergone rapid improvement in the past 3 years, culminating with Ofsted grading us ‘Outstanding’ in Nov 2010; with the best grade profile of any GFE in the country since the introduction of the Common Inspection Framework. Over this period Barnsley College has worked very closely with Protocol National’s Head of Observe & Improve and their consultants, using a variety of initiatives to support and enable improvements, with particular emphasis on self-assessment and teaching and learning. Emma’s expertise, integrity and commitment, together with the excellent working relationship, have been instrumental in Barnsley College’s relentless drive towards outstanding and continual improvement.”
