This event will focus on equipping tutors with the knowledge and understanding to develop practical strategies to help learners help themselves. We will explore the essential factors to create active and effective learning in which learners develop their ability to learn independently.

Deborah has an impressive reputation across the learning and skills sector. Following significant experience in FE and private training Deborah has established herself as a highly regarded consultant and popular and influential trainer. She has inspection and quality improvement experience in Colleges, Work Based Learning Providers, Adult and Community Learning, and Offender Learning Institutions. Known for her dynamic and engaging interpersonal skills and ‘down to earth’ approach, Deborah’s training sessions and presentations are much sought after. She has been an inspector with OFSTED since 2002.
