Peterborough Regional College is a large, successful college of further and higher education with 13,000 students and 750 staff.
We are looking for a highly-effective and commercially focussed HR Professional to join our senior leadership team. With responsibility for HR strategy and advising the Principal and senior team on all HR matters, you will also have accountability for managing the overall operational HR needs of the College including payroll, staff development, recruitment, equality and diversity, safeguarding and employee relations.
The successful individual will be a member of the CIPD and experienced at operating at a senior HR management or Director level, in addition to having extensive knowledge of employment law and HR information systems knowledge.

Apprenticeship Manager
Salary:£35k - £40k, plus contributory pension and life assurance
Hours: Full Time
Location: Brompton, Kent
TQ Education and Training is a provider of outsourced training services to the UK Ministry of Defence, other public sector organisations and private companies, both in the UK and overseas. As a result of continued growth and the acquisition of a new MoD Contract, they have an urgent requirement for an Apprenticeship Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of apprenticeships and related qualifications within the Royal Engineers in line with TQ’s contract with the Army, and ensuring the delivery is compliant with all relevant standards. Additionally, you will support the Contract Manager in the development of new apprentice frameworks.
A Degree, or equivalent professional qualification and a good understanding of contemporary developments in education, particularly apprenticeships, are essential. An excellent communicator, with proven organisation ability, you must also have a successful track record in people management and have the ability to motivate and influence others.
A PGCE or Certificate of Education and A1/V1 Awards are desirable, as is relevant experience in the industrial/commercial sector or military experience.
